SEASONS

Hey ya'll - - I know it's been a long time so I've posted. I've been taking time to reflect, refresh and regain my strength so that I can push forward. 

 

What a time we are living in...

I've heard so many times that we are living in uncertain times. While I believe that, I'm  holding on to the truth that we have a God that is certain in all things.

Nothing takes God by surprise. 

This season has been hard for everyone.

There is a communal pain that everyone is feeling these days.

 

Seasons change but God remains the same. I don't know everything but I know that God is faithful till the end. I don't know exactly what you may be going through but I do know that we all face challenges of many kind. I want to affirm your feelings by reminding you that it's okay to have uneasy feelings, irrational thoughts, or a feeling of sadness. While those feelings are relevant; there is hope to overcome and heal. If you don't have coping mechanisms or ways to help you combat stress - - I highly recommend you to find ways to help you during this season and forever more. 

 

Here are some of my coping mechanisms:

  • Working Out
  • Drinking Tea
  • Journaling 
  • Since we are quarantined - - taking walks outside or enjoying nature has been helpful
  • Watching sermons or motivational videos
  • Stretching and deep breaths 
  • Therapy

Those are just a few of the things that I'm currently doing - - find what works for you and be consistent!!
